NATALIA ZUCH (*1991 in Lodz) is a Polish documentary filmmaker based in Berlin. She used to skip high school to watch movies instead. A few years later she graduated with a BA degree in Film and Media Studies from the University of Lodz. Quickly she realised that she prefers to make movies rather than write about them. And so it all began in 2013 with her first short amateur documentary “Let’s have some fun!” about the abuse of elephants in tourism.
The next years were all about learning and exploring her own style. In 2015 Natalia joined the department of Documentary Filmmaking at filmArche in Berlin. In the past years, she has been working for companies like Documentary Campus, 3sat or Valentin Thurn Filmproduktion.
Natalia is dead keen on performance, documentary and the idea of bringing them together.
JULIETTE CELLIER (*1984 in Ahlen) is a German filmmaker based in Berlin. She holds a bachelor's degree in journalism & media management. In the frame of this studies, she made her first documentary about the annual gathering of her French family. In Juli 2018, she finished her studies in documentary film at filmArche.
Juliette took part in the production of films such as "Democracy - Im Rausch der Daten" by David Bernet, "Girls don't fly" by Monika Grassl, "Die Geister, die mich riefen" by Diana Näcke and "24 h Jerusalem" by Volker Heise. She has also worked as assistant director for the children's feature film "Nelly's Abenteuer" by Dominik Wessely.
In addition to her debut COMING CLOSER, Juliette is currently developing the documentary film RÖSCHEN - about the joie de vivre of a 90-year-old who mixes up a small village in Brandenburg.
